Rustins Quick Dry Primer & Undercoat is for use on interior and exterior work. It is ideal for new and bare wood, MDF, plaster, brickwork and cement.
Quick drying, excellent covering power and low odour, this paint has a high opacity and can be used as an undercoat on primed or painted surfaces. It may be over-coated with water or solvent based finishing paints, but is not to be used for priming metal.
During preparation, surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry and free from wax, grease and contaminants. Apply liberally and evenly with a synthetic fibre brush or roller.
One coat is usually sufficient to completely cover previous paints and provides the base for new applications. However, a minimum of two coats is recommended. Touch dry within 30 minutes, depending on temperature and humidity. Two hours minimum for re-coating, depending on temperature and humidity. Ideally 15-25°C. Do not use below 10°C or in conditions of high humidity.
Coverage is approximately 13sq.m per litre, 1 coat, depending on the absorbency of the surface.
Rustins Quick Dry Primer & Undercoat (Grey) is sold in 2.5L containers.
