Rustins Quick Dry Step & Tile Gloss is a quick-drying, high-performance interior and exterior paint for use on tiles, concrete and bricks.
Contains micronised red oxide in the red gloss and a special black pigment for good opacity in the black gloss. Not for use on glazed or quarry tiles.
During preparation, the surface must be clean, smooth, sound, dry, free from wax, dust and contaminants. Any wax polish previously applied can be removed with white spirit, steel wool and a clean rag. Existing paint, not being removed should be sanded to provide a key and cleaned with white spirit or detergent.
Use a good quality brush and apply evenly. Two coat are usually sufficient. Sand lightly between coats if required.
Usually dry in 4-8 hours, depending on temperature and humidity. Allow 6-8 hours between coats or overnight. Do not use below 10°C, or in conditions of high humidity.
Coverage is 14 sq. metres per litre, per coat, depending on the absorbency of the surface.

Type: A gloss alkyd based paint available in black and red.

Maintenance: Re-apply when surface becomes worn. The surface to be coated should be cleaned with a mild detergent solution or white spirit and lightly sanded to provide a key.
Compatibility: Can be applied over most solvent-based paints.
Settlement: STIR WELL BEFORE USE.
Shelf-life/Storage Many years if stored in original, tightly closed container, in normal conditions.
Hazards: Flammable. Keep out of reach of children. Use only in well ventilated areas. Keep away from sources of ignition – no smoking. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Clean-Up: whilst wet with white spirit or Rustin’s Brush Cleaner. Remove excess product from brushes before cleaning. Hard brushes can be cleaned with Rustin’s Brush Restorer.
