The Magma SkidGrip R140 Anti-Skid Fast Application Preformed Sheets are a reliable thermoplastic repair system designed for anti-skid surfaces. With an advanced formulation, these sheets offer a range of features and benefits to enhance road safety and minimise downtime during repair and maintenance projects. 

Ideal for reinstating anti-skid and High Friction Surfaces (HFS) after utility works, the SkidGrip R140 system finds its application in areas such as bus lanes, traffic lights, roundabouts, and junction lead-ins. Its advanced formulation enables year-round usage, ensuring consistent performance in all weather conditions. 

The R140 preformed sheets feature an advanced plus formula that retains flexibility even in cooler temperatures. This attribute ensures that the sheets can be easily applied and maintain their effectiveness, regardless of the ambient temperature. With anti-skid aggregates impregnated into the surface, these sheets provide superior traction, exceeding a Safety Road Value (SRV) of 65 without the need for additional aggregates. 

A notable advantage of the SkidGrip R140 sheets is their quick application time, enabling rapid traffic access and minimising road closure times. This feature streamlines repair and maintenance processes, reducing disruptions and enhancing efficiency. The product's versatility extends beyond anti-skid surface reinstatement. Available in five attractive colours, inclduing Buff, Grey, Bold Red, Venetian Red and Black, the Magma preformed sheets offer aesthetic customisation options. One pack of SkidGrip R140 preformed sheets includes 10 sheets, providing ample coverage for various applications. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use 3.6kg of aggregate per sheet.

Curing:
SkidGrip R140 can be trafficked as soon as it has cooled to the temperature of the surrounding surface.

Aftercare and Maintenance:
Ensure all remaining loose aggregate is swept clear and disposed of suitably.

Storage and Packaging:
Storage Conditions:
Storage area should be dry, protected from direct sunlight and extremes of temperature - i.e. between 50C & 200C.
Shelf Life:
12 months when stored under cover, in original unopened containers,
in accordance with Storage Condition guidelines listed above.
