Try to keep your numbers in the same position throughout. If you are replacing numbers, make sure they are similar in size to what you currently have.

Our 3-inch number stencil kit has the numbers 0-9 and is made from polyester film. We have number kits in various sizes, should you need a different size.

Arrows

You will want to place arrows where someone driving will need to make a decision or to indicate the flow of traffic.

Make sure you know which way the arrow is pointing before you start painting. You don't want an arrow facing towards a parking bay.

We have various sizes of arrows that go straight and turn. Our 6-inch straight arrow stencil is reusable and made from polyester film. We also have larger straight arrows.

Disabled Parking Symbols

There are symbols that you can paint to show that a parking bay is reserved for people with disabilities. You can choose the size of symbol that best fits your requirements.

If you just need to replace some arrows or numbers, you may find that buying individual stencils will do the job.

Compare what you currently have with what we offer. You may find that your arrows or numbers are a different size and you end up with bits of the old design showing.

Car Park Kits

If you want to create a new design or are doing more than just a few markings, then a stencil kit could be useful.

Our Ampere Car Park Line Marking Stencil Kit comes with 8 sheets of stencils. These include:

• "PARKING" which measures 70 x 25cm.

• "STOP" which measures 70 x 40cm.

• An arrow which measures 60 x 40cm.

• Disabled parking symbols.

• Letters and symbols on 3 sheets.

This kit is made from reinforced oiled cardboard and can be used multiple times with aerosol line marking paint. It can be used on most hard surfaces.

Make sure you check what is included in the kit and compare this to what you need.

Consider the Size of Your Stencil

You will want to make sure that your stencil is large enough to fit your requirements.

Take a measurement of what you want to paint and allow for gaps between characters. Some stencils may list the size of the cutout or the character itself.

When painting a row of parking bays, you will need to know where you want your numbers or symbols to be.

If you are unsure of sizes, you can always measure it out on the ground before purchasing.

Repainting Your Car Park

What Paint Can I Use with My Stencil?

There are many different types of paint that you can use on your car park. Once you have decided on a paint, you will need to make sure that it is compatible with your stencil.

We have a range of line marking spray paint and hard surface line marking paint that works well with line marking stencils.

You can use a brush, roller or spray depending on the paint and stencil you are using. A line marker may not be suitable for painting symbols.

How Do I Clean My Stencil?

Depending on what your stencil is made from, you may be able to clean it.

Our ProSolve Straight Arrow Stencil is made from polyester film. The Ampere Car Park Stencil Kit is made from reinforced oiled cardboard.

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions on how to clean and store your stencil. Ensure your stencils are still in good working condition before reusing them.
