Flag Anti Slip (Water Based) Floor Paint is a quick-drying, non-toxic and low-odour acrylic paint that has been designed to seal, colour and protect concrete floors. Sold in 5 litre containers.
The floor paint contains dolomite stone for added strength and anti-slip* properties.
It has excellent water, petrol and oil resistant properties and is also ideal for general walkways.
The Flag paint has long-lasting durability and colour retention. It is the toughest water-based acrylic floor paint ever made by Flag.
Before application, the surface should be stable, firm, dry and free of dust, sand, loose old paint, dirt, grease and oil.
It is touch dry in one to two hours, depending on conditions. Re-coating may take place after 8-10 hours, but do not exceed five days for over-coating.
This paint has a theoretical spreading rate of 10-12 sq.metres per litre.

*Note: This product has anti-slip properties and therefore provides slip resistance. However, it is not possible to guarantee a totally non-slip surface.
Sealing/Priming: It is only necessary to seal a porous substrate such as new or bare concrete. A sealer coat is achieved by adding 10 per cent water to the paint. Please note any new concrete floor can only be painted after 6-8 weeks.

*The theoretical spreading rate has been calculated for the stated volume solids and dry film thickness. A practical spreading rate will depend on the actual dry film thickness, the nature of the substrate, and the relevant consumption factor. The physical constants are subject to normal manufacturing tolerances
I was looking for a good quality, not too expensive floor paint and was put onto this flag water based stuff. I bought 4 tins in grey and I'm very happy with the results. It went down well and gave good coverage.
